Introduction
The American Association for Gifted Children* is associated with Duke University, and advocates for gifted children through gifted education research, promotion of gifted education, and the award of scholarships. Research papers and newsletters are available for a nominal membership fee.
Resources Available to Parents
The AAGC publishes Working Papers to disseminate research information to parents and educators of the gifted. The most recent papers include:

Programs
AAGC has procured and awarded scholarships for the Presidential Scholars Program, which recognizes 141 outstanding high school graduates each year. In addition, AAGC awards the Straka Scholarship to college bound students.
